The Philadelphia WILPF Middle East committee envisions a Palestinian State and an Israeli State free of foreign domination and each having the rights and privileges of a sovereign nation. In our vision, there will not be a wall dividing the two nations and there will be equal access to water and other resources. The region will be free of nuclear weapons and the people of the two nations will live peacefully with each other.

The Philadelphia WILPF Middle East committee will use the strategies of public education, political advocacy, media work, and support of joint projects of organizations in the U.S. and in the Middle East that share our vision. The focus of these strategies will be to end U.S. financial and political support for Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands and to promote the role of the United Nations in negotiating a peaceful, two-state solution based on justice.
